On 9th November 2017, YKPM won the Star Golden Hearts Award 2017 for empowering Orang Asli and increase their socio-economics through ethical organic farming.

YKPM was one of ten winners to win the award that year, and were subsequently featured in a newspaper article “A heart of gold and a green thumb and video” and a video interview “An organic dream for Orang Asli”.

On 12th May 2022, YKPM was awarded The 5th ASEAN Rural Development and Poverty Eradication Leadership Award.

YKPM was only one of two awardees in Malaysia who received this prestigious award under the non-governmental organisation category (NGO/CSO).
