A “Diploma in Social Work” course has been developed by YKPM in close collaboration with the Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL), the Malaysian Association of Social Workers (MASW) and other voluntary organisations to incorporate social work competencies in the curriculum. The course was launched in mid-2017.
YKPM, also known as Foundation for Community Studies and Development (FOCUSED), was founded on 22 September 1993.
Our aim is to empower left-behind communities, both rural and urban, by working alongside them.
YKPM is a registered nonprofit organization.
Contributions to YKPM are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law in Malaysia.
